If you are looking for a special, handcrafted, personalized gift for a teacher in your life; these wood pencil name signs are a great idea.

I love to create them every year for my children’s teachers, for Christmas gifts or Teacher Appreciation.

Each wooden plate is cut, 15″x3.75″ with a point pencil shape, sanded, and then hand painted.

Once the pencil is painted, with acrylic yellow, black and pink paint to look like a pencil, the teacher’s name will be added with black vinyl.

The whole pencil will then be sealed.

The back of the pencil will have a hook for hanging, but the pencil can also sit nicely on a desk or shelf.
